Marvel fever has taken control of 2018, with Black Panther seeing unparalleled success in February and Avengers: Infinity War shocking viewers in April and May. The next addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes in July, and that will be the Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp.
The movie features Paul Rudd returning as Scott Lang, this time fighting alongside Evangeline Lilly’s teased hero, the Wasp. The initial trailer is out, and it includes a scene toward the end with a new ally and one huge addition to the cast: Laurence Fishburne.
But hold up a second. In a post on her personal Instagram account, Lilly makes an interesting reference that may reveal a spoiler for the plot of the movie.

For those of you who are confused – we had to win the senate before we could tackle the house. We DID win the senate and that was INCREDIBLE, now let’s do it all over again. That was Goliath, now we’re facing Thanos. Don’t let them censor and throttle us. Let’s get loud. Let’s win again. #netneutrality #battleforthenet (swipe right). LINK IN BIO!
When discussing the problem of net neutrality, Lilly describes winning over the senate as “Goliath,” while the house is more like “Thanos.” Fishburne’s character is credited as Dr. Bill Foster / Goliath on IMDb, so it appears that he may not be so much of an ally after all. Could Dr. Foster end up being the “true villain” of Ant-Man and the Wasp?
